What started as a passion project in Billy’s butcher shop in Aspley has grown into one of Queensland’s leading producers of authentic South African-style biltong.

In 2016, Billy began making small batches of biltong using a single drying cabinet at the back of his butcher shop. Demand quickly outgrew what one dryer could handle, and before long we expanded into a dedicated manufacturing facility alongside a South African retail store in Strathpine, Queensland.

As our business continued to grow, so did our vision. Today, our retail store has found its new home at the beautiful The Sheds precinct in Brendale, where we continue sharing the flavours of South Africa with our local community.

Behind the scenes, our manufacturing has also evolved. We now produce our biltong in a purpose-built facility in Narangba, Queensland, where we combine traditional South African techniques with premium Australian beef to craft every batch with the same care and attention that Billy started with back in 2016.

While we’ve grown considerably over the years, one thing hasn’t changed: our commitment to quality, authenticity and craftsmanship. Every slice of biltong we produce is a reflection of our passion for doing things properly—because great biltong is worth the time.
